Nightingale Lavender Chai

This is an amazing lavender chai!

I was able to try this one hot and hot with milk. This blend has the most intoxicating scent—lavender, spice, and everything nice you would expect out of a chai. Brewed hot, this is a flavorful chai with a lavender twist. A bold lavender tea is one of my favorite types of tea to drink, and this really shines in terms of lavender flavor. I get quite a bit of cardamom too, and that spice really complements the lavender well. The rest of the spices mix so well with the floral notes. Once again, the black tea base complements all of the flavors so well. When I added milk, this turned into the most amazing chai. I still get mainly lavender, but I feel like I get more ginger and cinnamon with the milk as well. This one will make for a great latte—either hot or cold!

Upon opening the packet, I was greeted by a beautiful aroma — strong lavender with soft notes of cinnamon and rose. The brew steeped to a deep amber color. I added a touch of honey, which brightened and deepened the floral flavors. 🍯

The taste is lavender-forward with hints of rose, sweet cinnamon, and cardamom. This is an inviting, soft Chai where the spices gently complement the florals — soothing, relaxing, and beautifully balanced. 🌸✨ If you love floral teas, this one is a must-try! It’s a lovely twist on a classic Chai, and I’m truly impressed with this blend.

I made this on the stovetop with water and milk before straining out the tea and adding sugar. I tried this both hot and iced and I love it both ways! This is such a beautiful floral chai! This chai is a little on the milder side, for those who like a less spicy chai. The chai spices are still present without being overwhelming, and this really allows the lavender (which is more predominant) and the rose floral notes to come through. The sugar coaxes out the floral notes even more and I love how the mellow chai spices linger in the background. The black tea in the blend too also seems a little mellow but still very enjoyable! Having said all that, this blend is still very flavorful! I would recommend this to anyone who loves floral chai blends that aren’t as spicy.

First of all, the name and packaging of Nightingale Lavender Chai instantly drew me in. It’s elegant, calming, and beautifully in tune with the bird theme that Birdsong Tea is known for. The nightingale has long been a symbol of beauty, inspiration, and finding light in the dark. Its song is said to bring comfort and renewal, much like the feeling this tea evokes from the very first sip.
